What It Is
E-Light combines IPL with radiofrequency (RF) energy in a single device. Widely used as a generic term by budget manufacturers for IPL+RF combo machines.
Why It Matters
E-Light is NOT a laser. It is a combination of IPL and RF technology, often marketed with impressive-sounding names. The IPL component provides light energy while RF adds heat. Despite marketing claims, this is still fundamentally an IPL-based system, not a true laser. Note: not to be confused with the Syneron eLight, which is a specific clinical device from an established manufacturer using the same IPL+RF principle but with significantly higher build quality and proprietary elos technology.
