What It Is

SFT is Rohrer Aesthetics' proprietary rapid-pulse delivery mode, exclusive to the EpiLaze hair removal system. In SFT mode, the laser delivers up to 10 pulses per second, allowing in-motion treatment of large body areas.

Why It Matters

Unlike SHR which can appear on any device from any manufacturer, SFT is hardware-specific to the Rohrer Aesthetics EpiLaze. If a clinic says they use SFT, they should have a genuine EpiLaze system. However, at least one Chinese manufacturer (MOONLIGHT) has copied Rohrer's marketing materials word for word, claiming 'our exclusive Smooth Flow Technology' on a generic tri-wavelength machine. If your clinic mentions SFT, ask to see the Rohrer Aesthetics branding on the device.
