What It Is

AFT is Alma branded IPL technology that uses fluorescence to convert UV light to usable wavelengths.

Why It Matters

AFT is NOT a laser - it is a form of IPL. While Alma AFT technology is considered higher quality than generic IPL, it is still fundamentally an Intense Pulsed Light system, not a true laser. Results typically require more sessions than laser treatment.
