Notes
Upgraded successor to the Optimas, launched July 2024. The big upgrade for hair removal is the Fusion Light and Fusion Dark handpieces, which add 755nm Alexandrite and 1064nm Nd:YAG to the existing 810nm diode. Fusion Light pairs 755nm + 810nm for lighter skin; Fusion Dark pairs 810nm + 1064nm for darker skin. The platform also includes DiolazeXL MAX (810nm diode with large spot size), Morpheus8 Burst and Burst Deep, Lumecca Peak IPL (25% more power than original Lumecca), Vasculaze Max, and Forma/Plus.
Overview
InMode's upgraded multi-application platform, successor to the Optimas. The headline addition for hair removal is the Fusion Light and Fusion Dark handpieces, which bring triple wavelength capability to the workstation.
How It Works
Fusion Light combines 755nm Alexandrite and 810nm diode for lighter skin tones. Fusion Dark combines 810nm diode and 1064nm Nd:YAG for darker skin tones. The DiolazeXL MAX handpiece provides 810nm diode with a large spot size for fast coverage of big areas. All handpieces use sapphire contact cooling.
Typical Uses
- Multi-service clinics wanting one platform for hair removal, skin rejuvenation, RF microneedling, and vascular treatments
- Clinics serving diverse patient populations who need wavelength flexibility for different skin types
- Practices upgrading from the original Optimas to gain Alexandrite and Nd:YAG capability
Key Features
The critical question to ask your clinic: do they have the Fusion handpieces, or only the DiolazeXL MAX? The Fusion handpieces give you three wavelengths and the ability to match wavelength to skin type. The DiolazeXL MAX is 810nm diode only. Both are available on this platform, but a clinic may not have purchased both.
