Cocoon Medical's entry-level, single-wavelength diode laser. The original Elysion is the 810nm-only version of the platform, positioned below the multi-wavelength Elysion Pro. Same chassis, same Crystal Freeze cooling, same USP 3ms pulse technology, but limited to the 810nm diode. Max power 1,600W (vs 2,000W on the Pro with all four wavelengths). Two spot sizes: 10x10mm and 18x10mm. Static mode at 1-3Hz, dynamic (in-motion) mode at 5-15Hz. Max energy 160J, limited to 40 J/cm² maximum. Max peak electrical power 9,000W. Overview
Cocoon Medical's most affordable professional diode laser. The Elysion is the single-wavelength (810nm) version of the platform, built for clinics that want a reliable, no-frills diode laser for hair removal without paying for multi-wavelength capability.
How It Works
Uses a single 810nm diode to target melanin in the hair follicle. USP (Ultra Short Pulse) technology delivers energy in 3ms pulses, destroying germination cells without overheating surrounding skin. Two work modes: static (1-3Hz) for precision with high-energy single shots, and dynamic in-motion (5-15Hz) for fast coverage of large areas at lower fluences. Crystal Freeze sapphire contact cooling holds the handpiece tip at a constant 5°C throughout the session.

Key Features
The Elysion is the stripped-down sibling of the Elysion Pro. Same build quality, same Crystal Freeze cooling, same USP pulse technology, but 810nm only and 1,600W instead of the Pro's 2,000W (multi-wavelength) or 3,500W (810nm-only Pro config). If your clinic only treats with 810nm and doesn't need the 755nm Alexandrite or the Blend (940+1060nm) handpieces, the Elysion does the same job at a lower acquisition cost. Cocoon Medical also offers an upgrade path to the Primelase lineup if the clinic grows.
