Notes

Cocoon Medical's original high-power multi-wavelength diode platform. 4,800W peak power. Three applicator wavelengths: 755nm (Alex), 810nm (Diode), and Blend (810+940+1060nm). Combines SSL (Solid State Laser) and diode technology. Predecessor to the Primelase Excellence, which added a dedicated 1060nm Yag applicator and expanded treatment indications beyond hair removal.

Overview

Cocoon Medical's high-power multi-wavelength diode laser, designed for high-volume clinics. At 4,800W peak power, it was among the most powerful diode hair removal platforms at launch. Combines SSL and diode laser technology in a single system.

How It Works

Three applicator options cover different needs: 755nm Alexandrite for fine/light hair on lighter skin, 810nm Diode as the workhorse for all skin types, and a Blend applicator combining 810+940+1060nm for maximum versatility. Crystal Freeze sapphire cooling maintains a constant 5°C during treatment. Works in both static (single-pulse) and dynamic (in-motion sliding) modes.

Typical Uses

  • High-volume clinics needing fast treatment times
  • All skin types including tanned skin (Fitzpatrick I-VI)
  • Fine and light hair via 755nm applicator

Key Features

4,800W peak power. One of the highest in any diode platform. Independent study showed 55% greater hair removal efficiency than Soprano ICE after 3 sessions (69% vs 53% reduction). Still found in many clinics, though Cocoon Medical now markets the Primelase Excellence as the current flagship.
