Notes

Venus Concept's compact tabletop 810nm diode laser. More affordable entry point than the Venus Velocity. FDA-cleared for hair removal, permanent hair reduction, and pseudofolliculitis barbae. Two treatment modes: PULSE and SLIDE. Part of Venus Concept's subscription-based equipment model.

Overview

Venus Concept's compact, tabletop diode laser designed as an affordable entry point for clinics adding hair removal services. Uses the same 810nm diode wavelength as the larger Venus Velocity but in a portable form factor with IoT connectivity for business analytics.

How It Works

810nm diode laser with real-time contact cooling that monitors applicator temperature 1,000 times per second. Two treatment modes: PULSE for traditional spot-by-spot delivery and SLIDE for continuous gliding motion over larger areas. Ergonomic applicator designed for ambidextrous use, plus optional footswitch operation. No disposables required.

Typical Uses

  • Newer or smaller clinics entering the hair removal market
  • Practices using Venus Concept's subscription financing to lower upfront costs
  • All body areas for Fitzpatrick I-VI

Key Features

Lower investment cost than the Venus Velocity makes it accessible for growing practices. IoT connectivity provides treatment data and business analytics. No disposable costs. Same subscription financing model as the Velocity. Compact tabletop design saves clinic floor space. It IS a real diode laser, not IPL, despite its lower price point compared to premium systems.
